  • “Anastasia Koorn as Concepción combines an excellent mezzo-soprano with some priceless facial expressions…”

    MUSIC OMH

  • “Concepción, played by American mezzo Anastasia Koorn, here also presented by Marchment as a Young Mistinguett, was an all-pink (hair, dress and shoes) wife to the clockmaker Torquemada, sung by Francis Melville. Koorn sang with fiery and crystalline tone and considerable projection.”

    OPERA NEWS

  • “…the starlet-like Concepción (mezzo-soprano Anastasia Koorn), completed an impressive cast.”

    THE GUARDIAN

  • “The ingenuity of the staging and choreography is matched by the game enthusiasm of the cast, from Anastasia Koorn’s haughty China Cup to Sam Harris’ frankly terrifying Arithmetic (enough to deter even Rishi Sunak from further Maths lessons).”

    BACHTRACK

  • “…made a strong impression, as did Anastasia Koorn ... Koorn’s return to Olympus after an amorous assignation on Earth was sweetly saucy.”
